| I have always had an interest in making jewellery. When I was young, I used
what ever materials that I could find. It was a fun thing to do, and costume
jewellery was the in thing.
Now I am a potter making sculpture and wheel thrown pots and vases, so what
better material to use than clay.
Welcome to my web of creative jewellery. Browse and enjoy. I hope you'll be
inspired and maybe purchase a piece that's lovingly made.
What
I do
I make creative ceramic jewellery, using a pale porcelain clay. The pieces
are fired twice in the kiln. Once to 1000deg C and then glazed and fired to
1240deg C.
All pieces are unique in that I don't mass produce pieces exactly the
same. They may have different combination of glazes or cords or beads added. I
will search for the right bead to compliment the piece.
All the porcelain pieces on this site are made by myself in my studio on the
island of Malta.
Making these miniature pieces of art, satisfies an urge, speaks to my soul,
hence the name 'Soulwork'
